The Ceremony

Relax and enjoy your wedding day at The Kingscote Barn, with your ceremony and reception all together in the same venue.

We are a licensed venue for civil ceremonies and also welcome blessings, humanist ceremonies and renewal of vows.

You can personalise your ceremony, making it special and unique, by choosing readings and poems to be read by your family or friends, selecting your favourite music to walk down the aisle to, or even having your furry friend as a ring bearer!

Live music is always a fantastic accompaniment to your ceremony and works perfectly in the barn or outside. Let us recommend some of our favourite local musicians.

We can hold an intimate ceremony in the cosy gallery or seat up to 150 guests in the barn with its chandeliers and high vaulted ceiling.

The stunning oak Linhay and spacious gardens also offer a fantastic opportunity for a romantic ceremony overlooking the beautiful valley.

After the ceremony, celebrate your new marriage with family and friends whilst enjoying drinks and canapes in our large reception room and picturesque gardens.

Please ask us for details about booking your ceremony with the Gloucestershire Registration Service.

We can also recommend local Churches that are happy to conduct your wedding ceremony and we will always be ready to greet you and your guests when you arrive at the Kingscote Barn for your wedding reception.

“We want to thank you so much for all of your hard work to make our wedding such a special day! We chose The Kingscote Barn as a beautiful venue but what is so special is the quality of the service provided by the excellent staff. I cannot think of anything else the team could have done to make our day run so well. I was impressed at the planing stage with the attention to detail but on the day itself everyone was wonderful. Sometimes it is the little things that make all the difference, such as bringing the bouquets in already drained of water and reminding us how to walk down the aisle properly. Thank you for making our wedding such a wonderful and memorable occasion!”
